3554 Ryder Hesjedal Way, Colwood Rezoning Application

District Developments Corp. has provided this online platform for a second virtual public consultation for the rezoning application at 3554 Ryder Hesjedal Way, Colwood to the City of Colwood. The submitted application proposes to rezone the 1.8 acre site from a RBCD3A (Royal Bay CD3A) to a new CD (Comprehensive Development) zone in accordance with the City of Colwood’s current Commons Mixed Use designation in the Official Community Plan (OCP).

Virtual Public Consultation Presentation

A second virtual Public Consultation Presentation video and document presenting the application were made available to the public for their feedback between May 5 and May 19, 2021. Comments and questions in response to the application were then accepted during this consultation period. District Developments Corp. responded to the topics that were raised and provided these responses on this landing page between June 2 to June 16, 2021.

What happens next?

The summarized and anonymized questions and comments received from the public along with District Development Corp.’s responses will be provided in a report to Colwood City Council and Staff for their review and consideration in regards to this application.

This public consultation period has officially ended. District Developments Corp. appreciates the comments and questions received from members of the community. They will help shape the application for this project for the Royal Bay community of Colwood. Any revisions to the plans will be shared with the community and appropriate notifications will be made.
