3554 Ryder Hesjedal Way, Colwood Rezoning Application

District Developments Corp. would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 3554 Ryder Hesjedal Way, Colwood. The application proposes to rezone the 1.8 acre site from a RBCD3A (Royal Bay CD3A) to a new CD (Comprehensive Development) zone in accordance with the City of Colwood’s current Commons Mixed Use designation in the Official Community Plan (OCP).

Virtual Public Consultation Presentation

A second virtual Public Consultation Presentation video and document presenting the revised application were made available to the public for review and consideration between May 5 and May 19, 2021. Comments and questions in response to the revised application were then accepted during this consultation period. District Development Corp. has now compiled responses to the topics that were raised in this second consultation. Please find below a link to the response document for the public’s review. We would like to thank all of you who submitted your questions and comments. They will help shape the application for this project for the Royal Bay community of Colwood.

What happens next?

Comments and questions submitted were summarized, anonymized and responses are now posted here publicly. These summarized and anonymized questions and comments along with District Development Corp.’s responses will also be provided in a report to Colwood City Council and Staff for their review and consideration in regards to this application.

Responses to Comments and Questions will be available on this website until June 16th at 5pm.
